    ‎A Nigerian lady has displayed the amount mistakenly transferred to her Opay account, sparking buzz online.

    ‎In a viral X post, the lady disclosed that ₦1.1 million was mistakenly transferred to her account and the sender contacted her via WhatsApp.

    ‎According to a screenshot posted by the lady, the erroneous transfer occurred on Monday, August 16, 2025.

    ‎Meanwhile, an unexpected situation unfolded after the sender insisted on a refund to another bank account.

    ‎”I mistakenly sent 1. 1 million Naira to your opay account, kindly send it to this account for me“, The text reads.


    ‎Lady Gives Response To Receiver After Errenous Transfer


    ‎However, she sought clarification from the sender about refunding to another account, stating, “Why are you telling me to send it to another bank instead of the bank you used. I’m sorry,I can’t send it back”.

    ‎Meanwhile, the tweet has drawn reactions from users on the X platform.

    ‎Bolaji wrote, “Make them do mistake send am to my account too now”.

    ‎Adenike stated, “Don’t send it, send it to the same bank and number he sent it from”.
