CHICAGO, IL — July 31, 2026 — Some albums entertain. Some albums explain. In the City confronts.

Independent recording artist Exclusive returns with his first full-length album  since 2019—not to revisit the past, but to document what happens when a man  chooses understanding over avoidance, responsibility over resentment, and  identity over survival.

For years, Exclusive stepped away from releasing albums to do work that couldn’t  be measured in streams or headlines. The silence wasn’t creative absence. It was  reconstruction.

The result is In the City—a twelve-chapter examination of pressure, ambition,  temptation, loyalty, desire, faith, masculinity, self-respect, and the quiet  conversations men have with themselves when no one else is listening. This isn’t an album asking for sympathy.

It’s an album asking better questions.

Opening with “Bishop Back 2 C4” and “Changing of the Guard,” Exclusive  establishes that this isn’t nostalgia—it’s the sound of a man reclaiming authorship  over his own life.

“All of the Above” reminds listeners that confidence, humor, composure, and  ambition don’t have to be separated. They can exist together without apology. “Savage X” examines the point where restraint is repeatedly mistaken for  weakness, asking what happens when discipline reaches its limit. “Bare With Me” strips away performance to reveal something rarely explored in  modern hip-hop: a man remaining emotionally honest without surrendering his  strength.

Across twelve chapters, In the City argues that pain is not identity, growth is rarely  loud, and the strongest transformations often happen long before anyone else  notices them.

The project also marks the beginning of a new creative direction through Utter  Audio, where music, film, photography, writing, and media are intentionally  designed as one connected artistic experience. Every visual, caption, interview,  and release serves the same purpose: to build an identity people don’t simply  consume—they recognize.

Exclusive isn’t returning to prove he still belongs.

He’s returning because he never left himself.

In the City is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon  Music, and all major streaming platforms.

    A Final Invitation

Some conversations don’t happen between two people.

They happen between a man and the version of himself he’s been avoiding. If you’ve ever questioned your direction…

If you’ve ever carried responsibility in silence…

If you’ve ever wondered whether confidence and vulnerability can exist in the  same man…
