TAG Heuer has unveiled two new limited-edition Formula 1 Solargraph watches, created to commemorate the final Dutch Grand Prix at the iconic Circuit Zandvoort. Situated along the North Sea, Zandvoort is renowned for its intense coastal racing environment and vibrant fan culture, famously characterized by a sweeping "sea of orange" across the grandstands. Connecting back to the original TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection introduced in 1986, these new models revive a compact 38mm case size that directly links to the line's foundational era while bringing modern solar technology to the track. The first variant is paired with a matching orange rubber strap and is limited to 1,500 pieces. Meanwhile, the second edition, an e-commerce exclusive model, comes fitted on a 3-row sandblasted steel bracelet and is limited to 1,000 pieces. Both models feature a grey opalin dial accented with an orange and red minuterie as a nod to the vibrant fan culture of Zandvoort. The sandblasted steel case delivers a matte, motorsport‑ready aesthetic, while the bidirectional bezel crafted from TH‑Polylight adds durability and tactile character.Applied indices are filled with eggshell-colored Super‑LumiNova to ensure legibility in all conditions, complemented by red lacquered hands and a cleanly integrated date window at three o’clock. The design remains faithful to the original Formula 1 codes, with signature shields at six, nine, and twelve o’clock anchoring the dial’s rhythm. At the core of both models is the solar-powered Caliber TH50-00, which harnesses both natural and artificial light as a virtually limitless energy source. A single minute of exposure to direct sunlight supplies a full day of power, while a complete charge - reached in under 40 hours of light exposure - delivers up to 10 months of continuous operation in total darkness. The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph watches are available via the brand, with prices set at $2,150 USD for the rubber strap model and $2,250 USD for the e-commerce-exclusive, steel bracelet edition.
