Richard Mille and Colnago have joined forces to present the RM 64‑01 Tourbillon Colnago, a limited edition of just 50 pieces that fuses haute horlogerie with cycling’s most iconic design codes. Conceived as a tribute to Colnago’s legendary frames, the skeletonized caliber recalls the tubular geometry of racing bikes, with titanium bridges shaped like star‑sections inspired by the brand’s historic “Master” frames. The movement delivers a 65‑hour power reserve, with its barrel and variable‑inertia tourbillon positioned in symmetry to evoke the drivetrain of a bicycle. The case architecture continues this technical homage, crafted from White Quartz TPT® with accents of Azure Blue Quartz TPT®, a shade developed specifically for this model. For the first time on a Richard Mille sports watch, 5N red gold is integrated into the design, appearing on the flange, crown cap, and specially designed hands that echo the cranks of a bicycle bracket. The crown itself is adorned with Colnago’s ace of clubs emblem, reinforcing the collaboration’s authenticity. Every detail, from the microblasted titanium hub caps to the lacquered bridges in white, blue, and red gold, reflects Colnago’s craftsmanship translated into miniature horological form. The RM 64-01’s movement is designed around the guiding principles of lightness, transparency and volume. Its manual-winding tourbillon caliber lays bare its 274 microblasted grade 5 titanium components in a layout that distinctly echoes the geometry of a bicycle drivetrain. Positioned in direct symmetry, a fast-rotating barrel at 1 o'clock delivers a 65-hour power reserve to the variable-inertia tourbillon situated at 7 o'clock. The visual centerpiece of the movement lies in its star-shaped upper titanium bridges, which are inspired by the renowned Gilco tubes of Colnago's 1980s 'Master' frames. These bridges are lacquered in white and meticulously hand-painted in azure blue and 5N red gold, perfectly capturing the aesthetic language of the Italian brand's most exclusive creationsThe RM 64‑01 Tourbillon Colnago is limited to 50 examples worldwide.
