Real Madrid have reportedly placed a €160 million valuation on Vinicius Junior as uncertainty over the Brazilian forward’s future continues ahead of renewed contract talks.

The Spanish giants are expected to resume negotiations with the 26-year-old on Monday following the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

    Madrid set asking price

According to Sport, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has made it clear the club will only consider offers worth at least €160 million.

The reported valuation includes a guaranteed transfer fee as well as performance-related bonuses and add-ons.

Vinicius remains under contract until 2027, but talks over an extension have yet to produce an agreement, raising questions about his long-term future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid are keen to avoid losing one of their key players without receiving a substantial transfer fee and are unlikely to entertain bids below their reported valuation.

    Arsenal monitoring situation

Arsenal are among the clubs tracking Vinicius’ contract situation, with reports indicating the Premier League side has explored the possibility of signing the Brazil international.

However, no formal discussions have taken place between the two clubs, and Arsenal’s interest remains at an exploratory stage.

Real Madrid and Vinicius are expected to resume negotiations in an attempt to reach an agreement over a new contract.

Should those talks fail to make significant progress, the Spanish club could become more open to offers, although any potential buyer would be expected to meet the reported €160 million asking price.

Vinicius has been one of Real Madrid’s standout performers since joining from Flamengo in 2018, establishing himself as a key figure in the club’s attack with his goals, assists and consistent performances.
