    JOOPITER has announced its first auction under its newly established Watches Department, titled Keeping Measure: Watches & Timepieces. Curated to showcase both landmark models from storied Maisons and innovative creations from independent watchmakers, the sale spans over half a century of horological design. Featuring names such as Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, OMEGA, Piaget, Cartier, Ressence, HYT, Speake‑Marin and Ōtsuka Lotēc, the auction reflects the breadth of contemporary collecting and aims to appeal to seasoned collectors as well as newcomers.The auction is currently open for bidding until August 5, 2026, with highlights including rare OMEGA pieces such as a tropical dial 2915‑3 and the first auction appearance of the complicated Speedmaster Chrono Chime. Other standout lots include the OMEGA Alan Bean Speedmaster produced in 1969 and linked to the astronaut who became the fourth person to walk on the Moon; the Ulysse Nardin 18k Woven Bracelet Watch crafted by Gay Frères; as well as the HYT Moon Runner Red Magma -- a bold 2022 release showcasing HYT’s liquid‑time technology.
