One person was reported dead, while two others were injured in a series of incidents at Kara Bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway early Friday morning.

According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the first incident included five articulated trucks and a Toyota Sienna, with preliminary findings indicating excessive speed and loss of control. While emergency crews were still clearing the scene, a commercial bus crashed again.

The events caused considerable traffic congestion, forcing the FRSC to advise vehicles to avoid the Kara-Ojodu Berger corridor and take other routes while recovery and clearance efforts are ongoing.
