Former P-Square member Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has responded to recent remarks by his twin brother, Rudeboy, saying he is ready to stop being “Mr Nice Guy” and match the energy directed at him.

Mr P came under criticism after replying to a social media user who asked whether his French-speaking children could also speak Igbo. In his response, he questioned, “Who Naija language help?”, a remark that triggered widespread backlash online.

In a statement shared on X, Mr P acknowledged that his comments offended many people and accepted responsibility for how they were received.

However, while apologising for the controversy, he accused Rudeboy of using the situation to damage his reputation, alleging that his brother deliberately twisted his remarks and had repeatedly taken opportunities to criticise him publicly.

He noted that he is done being nice and would be giving back the same energy that his brother is giving him.

    His words …

“Today, I feel I have to speak my truth. I know this video will piss a lot of people off, but I don’t care anymore. I know many of you have seen this tweet ‘Rudeboy’s tweets, always throwing shade at me, I’m doing being Mr nice guy, I’m ready for aura for aura. I’m going to start giving you same energy”
