Maryland artist K-Quick turns a three-year mentorship with Flesh-n-Bone into an official label deal while keeping his own momentum moving with the Bungalo release “Oddly (Remix).”

For Keone “K-Quick” Reed, what began as a relationship with artists he respected has developed into one of the biggest milestones of his career.

K-Quick has officially signed with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Records, marking a major step forward in a relationship with the legendary Hip Hop group that has been developing for more than three years.

The move also creates a natural next chapter in a story The Hype Magazine has followed for several years, from K-Quick’s emergence as a multifaceted artist working across music and film to his growing relationship with members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and his expanding catalog through Bungalo.

At the same time, K-Quick is keeping his own musical momentum moving. Separate from his new Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Records chapter, he is promoting his latest Bungalo release, “Oddly (Remix),” along with its accompanying music video.

The single and visual are not Bone Thugs-N-Harmony projects. Instead, they represent the continuing evolution of the body of work K-Quick was already building before making his new label affiliation official.

A Three-Year Road to the Signing

For K-Quick, the deal was anything but an overnight development.

“Signing with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Records was a long time in the making. My relationship with the group—especially Flesh-n-Bone—has been developing for more than three years, dating back to 2023. Since then, Flesh has taken me under his wing, serving as both a mentor and a big brother. He’s poured invaluable knowledge into me, guided my growth as an artist, and given me opportunities to tour and work alongside Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.”

That history is important because K-Quick’s connection with the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony camp has been visible well before the paperwork.

When The Hype Magazine revisited his career in 2025, K-Quick was already building connections with members of the group as his broader career expanded through music, film and his relationship with Bungalo.

What ultimately separated the opportunity from another industry connection was K-Quick’s willingness to consistently show up.

“From the moment that relationship began, I made it my mission to be fully committed. Anytime there was an opportunity to show up—especially in the DMV—I was there. Whether it was a local event or a show in another city, I came ready to work, ready to perform, and ready to learn. I wanted to prove that I belonged and that I was willing to put in the work.”

That commitment eventually moved the relationship from mentorship and collaboration to business.

From Mentorship to an Official Deal

According to K-Quick, the formal offer arrived at the beginning of 2026.

“The official offer to join Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Records came in January 2026. From there, we went through the business side of the process, including negotiations with management and legal, to make sure everything was in place. Several months later, we finalized the agreement, put pen to paper, and made it official.”

For an artist whose development has increasingly centered on longevity, relationships and versatility, the signing represents a substantial progression.

The Hype Magazine first covered K-Quick as a multidimensional creative establishing himself in music and film. Our subsequent coverage followed an artist whose catalog, industry relationships and ambitions continued to expand.

The relationship with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony became one of the more intriguing parts of that evolution.

Now, what began as mentorship, has become an official label relationship.

“The signing wasn’t something that happened overnight—it was the result of years of building trust, consistency, and hard work. Now that everything is official, it’s full speed ahead, and I’m excited for this next chapter with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Records.”

K-Quick Keeps Moving With “Oddly (Remix)”

While the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Records announcement represents a significant career milestone, K-Quick is not allowing the news to overshadow the music he already has in motion.

His latest release, “Oddly (Remix),” arrives through Bungalo and continues the musical identity K-Quick has been developing independently of his new label affiliation.

The accompanying video gives audiences another look at K-Quick on his own artistic terms rather than functioning as an introduction to the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Records partnership.

    That distinction is worth making.

The Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Records signing represents the beginning of a new business and creative chapter. “Oddly (Remix)” represents an artist continuing to work the catalog, relationships and foundation that helped put him in position for the opportunity.

    The Follow-Up Became the Breakthrough

There is something particularly compelling about watching an artist’s story develop in real time.

When The Hype Magazine covered K-Quick in 2022, he was establishing himself as an artist determined to move beyond one creative lane.

By 2025, his story had grown considerably, encompassing an expanding music catalog, acting, industry collaborations and a developing connection to one of Hip Hop’s most recognizable groups.

Now, one of those relationships has evolved into perhaps his most significant career announcement yet.

For K-Quick, the path to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Records also offers a reminder that some of the most meaningful opportunities in entertainment are built long before contracts are signed.

He spent years showing up, building trust, listening, learning and allowing a mentorship to develop organically before the business caught up with the relationship.

    Now the paperwork is signed.

And as K-Quick puts it, it is “full speed ahead.”
