Hermès has unveiled a new chapter in its Cape Cod collection, introducing a titanium edition that blends the line’s casual elegance with a more contemporary, sporty aesthetic. Originally designed by Henri d'Origny in 1991, the model is celebrated for its distinctive "square within a rectangle" shape, famously inspired by the nautical anchor-chain link. This latest iteration preserves that bold geometry but elevates the experience through a 41mm titanium case. Designed for dynamic everyday wear, the lightweight titanium frame features a sophisticated interplay of textures, combining a satin-finished top with beadblasted sides. The watch features a black dial with layered finishes: a sandblasted center that plays with light and a satin-brushed outer ring that adds depth. Rhodium-plated Arabic numerals and baton-style hands coated with Super-LumiNova® ensure readability in all conditions, while an orange seconds hand injects a vibrant, sporty touch. Inside beats the Hermès Manufacture H1912 automatic movement, crafted in Switzerland, offering hours, minutes, seconds and a date display at 6 o’clock, with a 45-hour power reserve.Designed with a relaxed, seafaring spirit, the 10-ATM water-resistant watch is paired with a range of colorful rubber straps. Collectors can choose between vibrant options like jaune de Naples (Naples yellow), orange, bleu abysse (abyss blue) or classic black, making the watch a versatile companion for both casual wear and sporting environments.
