    Acclaimed music producer Tay Keith has died at the age of 29. The Grammy-nominated hitmaker, whose real name was Brytavious Lakeith Chambers, was discovered by authorities on Thursday afternoon inside his apartment located in Nashville, Tennessee.According to an official statement released by the Metro Nashville Police Department, officers found Chambers while conducting a routine welfare check at his residence. At this time, police authorities have explicitly noted that no foul play is suspected in connection with his passing. The definitive cause of death currently remains unknown as official autopsy results are still pending.Born on September 20, 1996, in Memphis, Tennessee, Keith originally began his musical journey as a teenager by producing tracks and uploading them directly to YouTube. He achieved his mainstream breakthrough in 2018 through a highly successful run with rapper BlocBoy JB, producing the popular tracks "Rover," "Shoot," and the Drake-assisted hit single "Look Alive."The producer quickly solidified his status as a major contemporary hip-hop architect later that same year. His 2018 credits included producing Drake’s "Nonstop," Eminem’s "Not Alike," and Travis Scott’s multi-platinum record "Sicko Mode," the latter of which earned Keith a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Song. His prolific career also spanned collaborations with some of music's biggest icons, producing Beyoncé’s "Before I Let Go" for her 2019 Homecoming: The Live Album, Lil Nas X’s "Holiday" in 2020, and DJ Khaled’s 2021 star-studded anthem "I Did It."
