The collaboration arrived as the final single scheduled ahead of Davido’s sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, which is set for release July 31. Driven by an energetic blend of Afrobeats and Amapiano, the record was crafted for crowded dance floors, festival stages and listeners ready to celebrate life without reservation.

Davido and NO11 Celebrate the Rewards of Hard Work

“Gimme Dat Ting” carries an immediate sense of momentum, combining rhythmic percussion, a hypnotic hook and the playful confidence that has become a defining part of Davido’s catalog.

Davido delivers verses centered on ambition, success and enjoying the rewards that come from years of dedication. NO11 matches that confidence with an equally lively performance, helping turn the collaboration into a spirited exchange between two artists connected through Nigerian culture and global musical influences.

The song’s message is rooted in living fully, appreciating personal victories and refusing to apologize for enjoying the results of hard work.

“Gimme Dat Ting” is about seeing your hard work pay off and not being afraid to enjoy the finer things in life,” says Davido. “Whether it’s fast cars, traveling the world, or being surrounded by good energy, it’s important to celebrate everything you’ve worked for and thank God for these blessings. We only get one life, so enjoy it.”

A Visual Built Around Luxury and Nightlife

Directed by Maikell, the accompanying music video places Davido and NO11 inside a fast-moving world of luxury, nightlife and celebration.

The visual moves from sleek cars and carefully maintained golf greens to crowded clubs filled with synchronized movement. Each setting mirrors the record’s Amapiano pulse, allowing the choreography, fashion and surrounding atmosphere to become extensions of the music.

Davido and NO11 remain at the center of the action throughout the video, delivering performances that reinforce the song’s themes of confidence, abundance and good energy.

Another Look at Davido’s ORIADÉ Era

“Gimme Dat Ting” followed the album’s lead single, “I Know Who I Be,” featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_CEEJAY. Together, the releases have offered listeners an early look at the sound and creative direction Davido is bringing to ORIADÉ.

The new project marks Davido’s sixth studio album and continues a career that has helped introduce Afrobeats to audiences around the world.

Over the past 15 years, Davido has played a significant role in Afrobeats’ expansion from a regional movement into one of the most influential sounds in contemporary global music. His combination of Nigerian musical traditions, pop songwriting and international collaborations has helped broaden the genre’s reach while opening additional doors for African artists.

    Davido Continues His Global Run

Davido recently completed his 42-date 5IVE ALIVE TOUR, which traveled through 12 countries across four continents. He also made his Coachella debut and appeared on the official 2026 FIFA World Cup album through the song “No Place Like Home” alongside Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado.

During his FIFA 2026 opening-night performance, Davido also used the international platform to call attention to the kidnapping crisis affecting communities in Nigeria.

With “Gimme Dat Ting,” Davido continues building toward the release of ORIADÉ while celebrating the success, faith and global connection that have shaped his journey.
