    Apple TV has officially unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming Australian thriller series, Last Seen. The six-part mystery drama stars Patrick Brammall as a former detective who receives a life-changing distress call 11 years after his daughter's disappearance.Set and filmed entirely in Victoria, Australia, the story centers on Ridley (Brammall), a police dispatcher who has never given up hope that his missing daughter, Maggie, is still alive. His belief is reignited when he answers an emergency call from a distressed teenage girl whose voice he becomes convinced belongs to Maggie, launching a desperate mission to reunite his family.Adapted by writer and executive producer Kris Mrksa from Ryan David Jahn’s CWA John Creasey Dagger Award-winning novel The Dispatcher, the project is directed and executive produced by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Christian Schwochow. The international cast includes Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell, Daniel Henshall, Zahra Newman, Jessica Wren, Tobias Muhafidin, and newcomer Chloe Jean Lourdes in her screen debut.Last Seen premieres globally on Apple TV on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with its first two episodes, followed by new weekly episodes every Wednesday through October 7.
