One of rap’s most uncompromising voices, Rome Streetz, releases his new single and visual, “Cocaine Coltraine.” Alongside the single, Rome officially announces his forthcoming album, Sock It To My Pocket, arriving July 17th via Mass Appeal Records.

Hot off a successful 12-stop Europe headline tour, Rome unveils his new gritty jazz-infused record, “Cocaine Coltraine,” which serves as the first single of his forthcoming highly anticipated new album, Sock It To My Pocket, arriving on July 17th. Sock It To My Pocket will be Rome’s first solo project under Nas’ Mass Appeal Records and the most anticipated release of his career to date. Produced by Denny La Flare (Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, A$AP Rocky), “Cocaine Coltraine” is a subtle nod to jazz legend John Coltrane, with a steady, soulful saxophone layered over a rugged, hard-hitting beat, creating a record that feels both timeless and unmistakably New York, where the spirit of jazz and the grit of the streets collide. Rome was locked in from the moment he heard the beat. “When I heard that beat, it gave me the same feeling when I heard ‘Big Steppa.’ It put me in that same zone, and I just let the pen move on its own,” says Rome Streetz. The accompanying visual brings that world to life in vivid detail.

With over 100 million career streams, collaborations with Method Man, Schoolboy Q, The Game, Benny The Butcher, Curren$y, Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, and Stove God Cooks, and 19 projects deep into his catalog, Rome Streetz arrives at this moment sharper and more focused than ever.

Born in London and raised in Queens before planting his roots in Brooklyn, Rome’s journey to the top of the underground has been anything but conventional. From open mic battles on 42nd Street to signing with Griselda Records and now Mass Appeal, he has put in the work every step of the way. His ascent is a testament to an artist who has never compromised his craft, and with Sock It To My Pocket, Rome Streetz is ready to show the world exactly what that work has built.
