A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions online after sharing her unpleasant experience with a man she met during a talking stage.

According to her, she agreed to meet him in person after he suggested they see each other. Excited about the meetup, she booked a cab from her house to the location without hesitation.

    Recounting the incident, she said:

“Na Shoprite I come today so. I was in my house peacefully, that was how this talking stage guy told me we should see. I said okay and booked cab to meet him.”

However, what seemed like a simple date quickly turned uncomfortable.

She revealed that upon meeting, the man only bought her ice cream before making an unexpected request that caught her off guard.

According to her, he asked her to follow him home despite it being their first time meeting.

Uncomfortable with the request, she declined immediately, stressing that she could not go home with someone she barely knew.

“He bought me ice cream and the next thing he said is I should follow him home. Because of ice cream? Something I can afford. I said no, I can’t follow you, I don’t know you,” she added.

The situation took another turn when she asked him for transport fare to return home. She claimed the man refused and walked away, leaving her stranded.

Her story has since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions from social media users.

While some sympathised with her situation, others questioned her decision to go out without making backup plans.

One user wrote, “Why go meet person without backup plan?” Another added, “Ice cream come turn investment 😂
