    Benfica slip ends title race

    Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho’s Benfica relinquished control of their match after going two goals ahead, with Nicolas Otamendi sent off early in the second half.

    Famalicao capitalised to earn a draw and effectively hand Porto the advantage.

    Porto’s title win caps a consistent campaign, with key contributions across the squad, including Nigerian internationals Zaidu Sanusi and Terem Moffi, who played roles during the season run-in.
