Today, Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross takes flight with a second season on Roku. This time around, Ross is heading through three different places: Melbourne, Gstaad, and Thailand. Naturally, each climate requires a different hairstyle. But, it wouldn’t be solo traveling if she had a hairstylist on deck.

Ahead, see how Tracee Ellis Ross achieved her three hairstyles using Pattern Beauty for Solo Traveling season two.

    “‘70s P— Hair” in Melbourne

It’s rare Ross vacations in urban destinations. But, this season, the show premieres in Melbourne, Australia, a city she described as “LA meets New York.” There, she shows how she achieved her, as she calls it, “‘70s p— hair” in an intimate get-ready-with-me before she takes on the oceanic climate.

First, she cleanses her curls with Pattern Beauty’s gentle, moisture-rich Hydration Shampoo followed by her Medium Conditioner as the foundation of the style. Then, she blows out her hair before scrunching and brushing the Repair360 Leave-In Foam in evenly. Next, she sections and curls her hair into big, sexy barrels, lets them cool and set, then combs through the roots for volume and movement. For the final touch, her Shine Spray adds a luminous finish to the season’s sexiest hairdo.

    Jumbo Cornrows in Gstaad

It’s been almost 40 years since Ross went to boarding school in the Swiss Alps. Now, she’s back for a ski trip with vintage ski suits, memories, and the season’s most simple hairstyles: Six jumbo cornrows. She starts by applying her Leave-In Conditioner layered with her weightless Curl Mousse before braiding her hair straight back, which fits snug under her ski helmet.

It’s the ideal protective style for a scalp care routine in the season’s coldest climate. For Ross, the Deep Scalp Detox and Jojoba Oil Blend are her go-to products for a healthy scalp.

    Slick Back Bun in Thailand

For the final episode, she travels to the jungle in northern Thailand for an adventure at the elephant sanctuary, White Temple, and cooking class. But first, she shows her slick back bun routine before heading to dinner in the jungle’s canopy. To achieve the look, she combs through her curls before pulling them into a slick ponytail, braiding the ends, and wrapping them into a bun.

Then, she cocktails the Leave-In and Strong Hold Gel to smooth, shape, and secure her slick back bun with her favorite brushes. Finally, she polishes her edges with Edge Control and Edge Brush as the final touch.
