The performance-focused portion of the duo's SUMMER_'026 centers around two football boot silhouettes: the Furon Elite FG v9 and the Tekela Elite Low FG v5. While both are built for elite-level play, each approaches the game from a different angle. The Furon is designed for outright speed, while the Tekela prioritizes touch, control, and precision. Stone Island x New Balance Furon Elite FG v9The standout of the collection is undoubtedly the Furon Elite FG v9. Drawing from Stone Island's long-standing fascination with material experimentation, the boot features a heat-reactive upper that shifts color in response to temperature changes during play. Underneath, a lightweight nylon outsole and speed-focused stud configuration are engineered to maximize traction and acceleration. Stone Island x New Balance Tekela Elite Low FG v5The Tekela Elite Low FG v5 shifts the conversation from pace to control. Constructed with a lightweight microfiber upper, grip-enhancing Dynamic Touch Tech detailing, and a reworked anatomical heel, the boot is designed to keep players locked in during quick changes of direction. Visually, it stands apart thanks to translucent green perimeter studs and a chrome-finished heel counter.Beyond footwear, the collaboration extends into a full on-pitch setup. An engineered recycled polyester jacquard kit featuring co-branded graphics and tonal detailing is paired with matching performance socks, while a thermally bonded 32-panel match ball rounds out the offering.Rooted in '90s football culture but executed through a distinctly Stone Island lens, the collection continues the brands' shared interest in technical innovation, this time through the language of the modern game. The Stone Island x New Balance on-pitch collection launches June 4 via HBX, selected Stone Island stores, and online. Japan will receive the collection beginning June 17.
