    This week, the price of Nike‘s shares fell to its lowest level in twelve years. On Monday, August 17, the Swoosh’s stock price fell four percent, closing at $39.0, the lowest level since 2014. The stock price, which peaked in 2021 at $177.51 per share, is today down more than 75%. A portion of Nike’s current problems can be linked to tactics used by the company’s previous management, which significantly increased direct-to-consumer sales around 2020.
