Marco Panconesi has introduced his "CONVERSATION PIECE,” a collection of objects designed to bring the emotional and symbolic charge of jewelry into spatial environments. The collection captures a desire to inhabit fantasy, utilizing the spiritual energy of stones and metals to quietly animate a room. Through stacked gemstones, pierced chrome surfaces and suspended markers of time, Panconesi creates an environment where inanimate matter feels alive, inviting viewers into a dialogue between observation and imagination.Among the highlights are the Ascolto Candelabra, rising as a totem of mahogany obsidian, calcite and jasper balanced in delicate equilibrium, and the Ascolto Vases, cylindrical metal forms animated by gemstones that radiate outward like blossoms in orbit. The Ascolto Clocks, presented in both metal and canvas bases, redefine timekeeping by suspending stones as markers, transforming light and reflection into sensory experiences. Each piece is crafted in Germany or Italy, with meticulous attention to materiality - stainless steel, tin, canvas and a constellation of stones ranging from tiger’s eye to pyrite - creating objects that hold the same symbolic charge as jewelry, but designed to inhabit space. The collection positions itself at the intersection of art, design and ritual, offering works that are both functional and poetic. Prices range from €1,300 EUR (approx. $1,486 USD) for the Ascolto Canvas Clock to €4,900 EUR (approx. $5,599 USD); more details regarding the collection's availability can be found through Panconesi's official website.
