Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the current NFL Offensive Player of the Year, has agreed to a four-year, $168.6 million contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history. The contract sets records for a wide receiver with an average annual salary of $42.15 million and a guaranteed salary of almost $120 million. The two-time Pro Bowler is now contractually bound to Seattle through the 2031 campaign thanks to this new deal. Smith-Njigba’s fifth-year option for 2027, which is valued at about $23.9 million, was already exercised by the Seahawks last week.
