Last week, crowds flocked to Copenhagen for two things: one, the Pokémon Go Festival and two, 3daysofdesign. The latter took place from Wednesday to Friday, with design brands opening up their showrooms to welcome visitors in and show their new collections. Also across the city, independent installations took place, including Deoron – a platform founded in Milan dedicated to profiling emerging talent. To celebrate Deoron's first time in Copenhagen, we teamed up to host an opening party on the Wednesday night. Guests had drinks from 1664 Blanc and Art of The Refill, while checking out the designs on show, which ranged from a tower of pink stepping stones, to a set of charred wooden speakers. The centre of the room was taken over by a conversation pit designed by Justus Hilfenhaus for Folke Furniture, placed in front of a custom-built sound system by Berlin-based Alephalef Sound. Across the evening, music programming came from the likes of Enequist and Anton Friisgaard. You can check out what went down in the gallery above, and revist our 3daysofdesign highlights here.
