Sprite recently tapped 23-year-old Crenshaw Skate Club designer Tobey McIntosh for their latest campaign, “It’s That Fresh.” In it, McIntosh’s designs, like a Sprite varsity jacket, are featured as part of a larger fashion and cultural world the brand is building.

McIntosh’s role in the campaign goes beyond design credits. As part of Sprite’s new global platform, he’s partnered with the brand to bring his perspective as a culture-rooted designer into its fashion and streetwear expression. That shows up in custom merchandise—T-shirts, hoodies, and more—built around individuality, creativity, and that signature “this is me” energy at the heart of the platform.

The rollout, which also features a signature jingle by DJ Mustard, was first teased back in December. More recently, at Sprite Fresh Fest in London, the brand’s first festival since its 1989 New York debut, attendees got an early look at what’s next, including a Crenshaw Skate Club streetwear installation complete with bespoke merch. And this isn’t a one-off moment: the collaboration continues through culturally driven drops and experiences rolling out throughout 2026. In other words, his designs will move through the campaign as part of an ongoing creative language, connecting the brand to the spaces where culture is actually being made.

The partnership also reflects a larger shift for Sprite, which is leaning deeper into street culture: from hip-hop and basketball to streetwear, as part of its refreshed identity. While the look and feel may be evolving, the brand has long been ahead of the curve when it comes to backing future icons early, from Drake to Kobe Bryant.

For McIntosh, whose design language sits at the intersection of skate culture, streetwear, and global fashion, the moment feels full circle. His work is grounded in personal history and community representation, something that’s been there from the start.
