    Three HBCU research grants landed in the same week. Together they cover a wide stretch of what these campuses are building toward — AI safety, clinical research, and STEM workforce pipelines. Tuskegee University, Howard University, and a joint effort between South Carolina State University and Voorhees University all secured new federal funding this month.
