Manchester City reignited the Premier League title race with a comfortable 3-0 win over Chelsea, delivering a ruthless second-half performance in London.

Nico O’Reilly proved decisive once again, opening the scoring before further goals from Marc Guehi and Jeremy Doku sealed a comprehensive win for Pep Guardiola’s side.

    Second-half surge defines contest

Chelsea started brightly and threatened on the counter, with Marc Cucurella seeing an effort ruled out for offside. However, they failed to capitalise on early form.

City’s only notable first-half chance came through Rayan Cherki, whose effort was comfortably saved by Robert Sánchez.

The breakthrough arrived shortly after the restart, as O’Reilly powered home a header from Cherki’s cross.

    Cherki orchestrates dominance

City quickly took control, with Cherki at the heart of their attacking play. The Frenchman created space before setting up Guehi for a simple finish to double the advantage.

Moments later, Doku capitalised on a defensive lapse from Moisés Caicedo, driving forward and finishing emphatically to put the result beyond doubt.

    Title race pressure intensifies

The victory significantly tightens the gap at the top, increasing pressure on league leaders Arsenal as City continue their pursuit.
