Producer Autumn Bailey-Ford has joined forces with South African executives Simo Kubheka and Damien Brown of NV Film Studios and Services to launch AfriNova Entertainment Group.

The company will focus on developing and producing film and television projects, fostering international co-productions, supporting emerging talent, and creating global distribution and financing opportunities. AfriNova’s mission centers on bringing culturally rich stories to audiences worldwide while creating sustainable opportunities for creatives across Africa and beyond.

Bailey-Ford described the venture as a bridge between continents, with operations spanning both the United States and Africa. Kubheka added that the partnership represents an opportunity to showcase Africa’s growing production capabilities on a global stage.

The launch builds on the foundation of NV Film Studios, one of Africa’s largest studio facilities, located near Cape Town, South Africa. Bailey-Ford also serves as a producer on Amazon’s upcoming Barbershop television series.

As international demand for diverse storytelling continues to grow, AfriNova Entertainment Group aims to position itself at the forefront of cross-cultural content creation.
