    Authentic Brands Group has officially acquired a 51% majority stake in the intellectual property of October’s Very Own (OVO). The deal partners the global brand management platform with co-founder Drake, while tapping Vince Holding Corp. as OVO's core global apparel and retail licensee.Under the terms of the transaction, Drake retains a 44% ownership stake in the brand, while Vince Holding Corp. acquires 5% alongside the operational rights to OVO’s retail footprint. Founded in 2008 by Aubrey "Drake" Graham, Oliver El-Khatib, and Noah "40" Shebib, the Toronto-bred label currently operates 12 standalone stores across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Under the new agreement, OVO’s creative and design teams will remain based in Toronto, while Vince Holding oversees global production, merchandising, logistics, and back-of-house operations.The transaction aims to accelerate OVO’s expansion within the global streetwear market. Vince Holding plans to open three new U.S. retail locations next year before introducing OVO into major wholesale accounts starting in 2027.
