Social media critic VeryDarkMan has urged Nigerians to take the next election seriously, stressing the importance of voter participation and claiming that the country would experience positive change if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is voted out of office.

According to him, removing elected officials who fail to meet expectations would send a strong message to future leaders and encourage better governance.

“If we can vote President Tinubu out of power, Nigeria will improve by at least 70%. It would send a message that whoever we elect can be removed if they fail to perform,” he said.

VDM further stated that politicians would become more responsible if they understood that Nigerians were willing to hold them accountable at the ballot box.

He also called on citizens to begin mobilising others to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), arguing that many people who complain online are not registered to vote.

“That alone will make anyone seeking power understand that they must deliver and do the right thing. Everybody should start preaching to everyone to get their voter card, the time is now. Eighty percent of people that talk on social media don’t even have PVC,” he added.

His remarks come amid growing insecurity across the country, with supporters agreeing on the need for greater voter participation while others debate his views on the current administration.

The activist has repeatedly encouraged Nigerians to become more involved in the democratic process, insisting that meaningful change can only happen when citizens actively participate in elections.
